About the Memphis Unsilent Night:
The Cooper-Young Community Association presents composer Phil Kline’s Unsilent Night, a free outdoor participatory sound sculpture of many individual parts played through a roving swarm of boomboxes. Participants of all ages bring their own boomboxes (bluetooth speakers are fine, too!) and drift peacefully through a cloud of sound which is different from every listener's perspective. We all press play together, beginning at the Cooper-Young Gazebo, and walk through the Cooper-Young neighborhood creating a cacophony of bells, voices, and reverberant joy, ending at Cooper House Project.

For more information see the event page.
